1. We looked at the work we have completed so far this quarter and I updated the gradebook to reflect what you have and have not completed.
2. We worked on notebooks. You should have about 7 or 8 pages done. You need 15 pages by the end of the quarter.
3. Your prompts are due next Wednesday. You need your written prompt, and your sample piece to be COMPLETED by Wednesday the 12th.

So, we've written dialogue pieces (due today) as well as flash fiction (these were due on Monday).
The reading we paired with the flash fiction was "Sticks" by George Saunders.
The reading we paired with dialogue was initially "Hills Like White Elephants" by Earnest Hemmingway.
Writer's notebooks are next!
